So the best way to go about it is to mix up routines during these breaks. It’s during this time that your overused muscles relax and the underused ones strengthen. In short, cross-training makes you a complete athlete and healthier person.

But people with fallen arches or any other such arch-related conditions, please take note. To be able to prevent foot injuries at such times, it’s important to workout with cross training shoes for flat feet. Winning a marathon does sound like a dream come true. But you know what’s better, running marathons while also being able to swim or bike for miles. There’s nothing more impressive than that, wouldn’t you agree?
