Modern medicine is truly an incredible thing. When you look at the progress that has been made in recent years, it is remarkable the achievements the global community have made and the impact those medical advancements have had on human longevity, disease curability, and overall wellbeing.

Those who study this relationship have found evidence that suggests CBD use can reduce anxiety due to its interaction with the limbic and paralimbic systems of the brain.

    • Another home run for medical marijuana advocates, CBD has been proven by multiple medical bodies to aid in the battle against cancer. The cannabinoid has been shown to limit or even stop the spread of cervical cancer cells. Additionally, multiple compounds in the plant, including CBD, have been said to have an antitumor effect, meaning that they can increase tumor cell death in leukemia and colon cancers.
  • Anti-Seizure
    • A huge discovery for both children and adults alike, cannabis has properties that can help alleviate symptoms of seizure disorders and, in some cases, cause seizures to stop altogether for lengthy amounts of time. Studies have shown that people living with a rare form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome have been drastically and positively affected by the use of CBD, with a dramatic drop in the number of overall seizures they experience over time.
