If you are on a mission to lose weight, you may be doing some crazy things  right from following a crash diet plan to doing hundreds of crunches and sit-ups. But sometimes, you might deviate from your mission, even without knowing. For instance, if you are having unhealthy snacks while sitting glued to your computer for hours, or are travelling incessantly and eating whatever you can grab, these might affect your weight loss goals to a great extent. Among all your bad habits, wrong eating habits are the ones that will affect you the most, as they are directly related to your diet and weight loss program. In fact, most of the bad eating habits will make you gain lots of weight instead of losing them. So, if you are not getting the desired results even after following all the tough methods, check out if you have any of these bad eating habits and use the remedies as mentioned below.

Skipping breakfast  If you tend to rush to the office without having a proper breakfast, almost every day, you can be sure of the fact that following the diet plan, prescribed by your nutritionist, is not going to help you lose weight. Even if you personally feel that you are not hungry and don’t need to eat anything right then, make it a point to have at least something, right after waking up. While it is advisable to have a healthy breakfast, as it is your first meal after a starvation of 6 to 8 hours, you must ensure that you are having something filling, along with a cup of green tea. Since green tea contains catechins, it boosts up your metabolism, and thus helps you to lose weight. As an alternative, you can also try green tea pills, which are equally effective. As recent studies have shown, green tea might do wonders when it is combined with caffeine. Hence, you can also have green tea, along with pure green coffee bean extract, in order to gain quicker results.

Eating just before going to sleep  Just like you are not supposed to stay hungry after waking up in the morning, you are also not supposed to go to bed with a full stomach. Eating a meal, or even a snack, right before bedtime will stimulate your digestive system, and it might also cause you problems in falling asleep. While sleeping, your digestive system slows down as a result of which, the food that you are taking in just before bed, won’t be digested properly and will result in spot fats. Make sure you don’t eat anything at least 3 hours before bed, especially foods that are high in fat and sugar.

Eating too fast  While eating quickly saves you a lot of time, eating too fast, for say, just within five minutes, might be a significant reason for gaining those extra pounds. A research from the University of Rhode Island showed that people who eat slowly, eat at least 1/3 less than people who eat fast. This is important because it takes 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that you are full. Hence, you should take at least 20 minutes to finish each of your meals. Consider including pure garcinia cambogia extract in your daily diet in order to burn the fats that you have already gained. Several test tube and animal researches suggest that Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) which is a derivative of citric acid, and can be found in Malabar tamarind or garcinia cambogia, can influence weight loss, mainly because of its effects on metabolism.

Eating while watching television  While watching television, you are concentrating on what you watch, and not on what or how much you eat. Since a program is longer than the usual time that you take to finish meals, you end on eating a lot more than what your body actually needs to feel satiated. So, you should avoid taking your meals in front of the TV. You may also consider having raspberry ketone or mucuna pruriens to trim down the spot fats.

So, if you have reached a weight-loss plateau or have failed to lose weight at the desired rate, take a moment to assess where you have gone wrong and mend your fitness regimen accordingly to get it back on track.
