#1 Allot time cycling 

Here’s a prominent part of the process that people still fail to do: making time to get started. They say that the beginning is the most challenging part, and once you get over it, things will get easier. One tip to get started is to be ultra-specific when you are going to cycle. Think realistically, do you have plans next Saturday morning? If you don’t, what time do you usually wake up? What time can you get ready? Will it rain? Once you’ve thought about all the factors available, plot the exact date and time you will do it.

#2 Switch to pedal-assist mode

Switching to a low pedal-assist level will help for maximum effort and help you manage your energies so much easier. People’s common misconception towards e-bikes is that they will not give you the burn that you expect. This is not true! Sometimes you have to battle against unexpected environmental stressors like strong winds. Riding on a regular bike will leave the effort all up to you because you have no help from a motor. When switching to pedal-assist mode, you can brave these stressors and just focus on your little adventure.

#3 Take on challenging trails

You can’t get better by cycling on the same smooth road all the time. So, if you want to challenge yourself even more, then try working against gravity! If you know how gravity works in the most basic sense, you would know that taking uphill routes more frequently can cause us to exert more effort. We’re pressured to fight against gravity by pulling ourselves up using an electric bike. Regular bikes can’t help you go this far, but you will get the necessary power that you need when using an e-bike. So next time you encounter an uphill, don’t be afraid to challenge yourself to rush towards it! You’ll be pleased with yourself the higher that you go. What else? Try rugged trails! This way, you can practice your focus, and you’ll train yourself to be more aware of your surroundings. Honestly, you won’t need these reasons for the benefits that they give you; you’ll want to try it anyway because it’s fun!

#4 Join Competitions

If you are up to challenge yourself, then you should try joining cycling competitions! If you are on the competitive side, entering e-bike contests can push you to improve your cycling skills. It enables you to practice more and improve your endurance! Sure, it would be fun to beat other people in competitions, but it’s not always about that. It’s about having more driving force to keep cycling more exciting and challenging for you.
