It's time to sweat. Our next Community Sweat is coming up on November 25 at XTHERAPY in support of the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society. Join us for a Sunday morning ride to dust off the cobwebs from Saturday night before heading out to brunch after.
The XTHERAPY team will lead us through a heart pumping, sweat dripping spin class in their downtown location. If you've never checked them out before, you'll immediately be welcomed by the community feel of the space and attention to your workout. Change rooms and locker spaces are available to store your gear and freshen up after.
Before you arrive
Drink lots of water before, during, and after your workout. It is very important to stay hydrated. They have filtered water stations for your water bottles.
Please don’t attempt to workout on an empty stomach. Have a full meal a few hours before class or a light snack up to half-an-hour before.
We suggest wearing form fitting pants or shorts and a light and breathable top.
They use cleated shoes during their rides and provide them free of charge! If you want to bring your own, you are welcome to bring clean indoor SPD compatible cleated shoes if you would like.
