Changing careers is hard – how do you get the necessary training without sacrificing your income? How do you know you’re choosing the right path? The prospect of changing your career goals is a daunting one, but there are options out there.

Have you considered becoming a Registered Massage Therapist? RMT’s make good money, set their own schedules, and can work in spas, hotels, clinics, or from home. Most important of all, though – massage therapists have a rewarding career helping others every single day. Massage Therapists help their clients reach and maintain a healthy lifestyle, manage pain, and lessen anxiety and stress.

The Alberta College of Massage Therapy offers a flexible, hands-on program that allows you to keep your day job while you train to be a Registered Massage Therapist in 18 months. You’ll spend 2 days per month in class (or attend our Wednesday evening classes each week) and graduate with a Massage Therapy Diploma. After graduation, join an association to start working and billing clients. Whether you already have a career in the health field and are looking to provide more options to your clients, or whether this is a complete shift from your current career, consider exploring massage therapy as a possible career!
