Time for our next Community Sweat. This month we’re at the Tru Ride Cycle Studio, where Lauren Samycia will be leading an energizing, sweat dripping spin class! Join us for a Saturday morning ride in support of the Youth Empowerment & Support Services.
If you’ve never checked them out before, you’ll immediately be welcomed by the community feel of the space and attention to your workout. Change rooms and locker spaces are available to store your gear and freshen up after.
HYDRATE: Drink lots of water before, during, and after your workout. It is very important to stay hydrated. They have filtered water stations for your water bottles.
EAT: Please don’t attempt to workout on an empty stomach. Have a full meal a few hours before class or a light snack up to half-an-hour before.
WEAR: We suggest wearing form-fitting pants or shorts and a light and breathable top.
They use cleated shoes during their rides and provide them free of charge! If you want to bring your own, you are welcome to bring clean indoor SPD compatible cleated shoes if you would like.
